Testimonial

“Before working with Kelley, I was feeling unanchored. I had been doing deep personal work, focusing on physical and mental wellness, and was making progress, but felt a void in the sphere of spirituality and wasn’t sure what I was looking for. I learned of Kelley’s work and the opportunity felt serendipitous.

Working with Kelley feels soothing and supportive. Kelley has a calm and gentle demeanor that invites safety and vulnerability, as well as spunk and energy that draws me forward.

Since working with Kelley, I have a much wider understanding of what spirituality can look like and feel like for me. I have a deeper sense of self, and feel more ease and spaciousness, even when navigating topics that previously had majorly troubled me. I have developed a meditation practice with Kelley’s invitation, encouragement and support. I also appreciate the tangible quotes, practices, articles, and similar resources that Kelley has shared.”

A Spiraling Space
(with a basket full of unmatched socks)

This is the space where I (try) to come for prayer and meditation each day.  It's a beautiful space, but if you look closely there's plenty of laundry on my vintage 70's couch and a basket FULL of unmatched socks still out in the middle of the room from my  husband's daily dig for socks in the morning.  I'm aiming for that transcendent calm, but with a full time job and four kids, there's always laundry to be done.  I'm sure you can relate.  I'm not a spiritual director because I've got it all figured out.  NOPE.  I'm a spiritual director because I'm still excited by the journey, as messy as it can be.

What to Expect in  a Spiritual Direction Session

"Wherever the action is in your life is where God is most involved with you. That is where you are making the choices that determine what you are becoming as a person. So that should be our focus." - Thomas Hart
